Description
Louis Jadot is one of the most trusted and revered wine houses in Burgundy’s Côte d’Or. The wines of the region are noted for subtlety, and this is no exception. It shows off the depth of the region. Nuits-Saint-Georges is the southernmost commune of the Côte de Nuits, with primarily limestone and marl soils. The grapes are handpicked and sorted, then undergo fermentation. After a long maceration, a portion of the wine is set to age in French oak barrels. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration, and that’s what ensures that it tastes alive. It’s a delicious and complex Pinot.
