Description
Famille Brunier’s Vieux Télégraphe La Crau Châteauneuf-du-Pape stands as a benchmark of the appellation, sourced exclusively from the iconic La Crau vineyard, a plateau of large galets roulés over red clay and sandy subsoil. This terroir, exposed to intense sunlight and tempered by the mistral wind, fosters exceptional concentration and balance in the grapes. The 2022 vintage is dominated by Grenache (65%), with Mourvèdre, Syrah, and a small portion of Cinsault completing the blend. Grapes are handpicked, rigorously sorted, and fermented in concrete with native yeasts. The wine is aged 20 months in traditional foudres, emphasizing structure and terroir-driven complexity. Vieux Télégraphe showcases Famille Brunier’s meticulous winemaking and the grandeur of La Crau’s exceptional soils.
