1792 Cognac Cask Finish Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a limited-release 95 proof (47.5% ABV) allocation produced at the Barton 1792 Distillery. After initial maturation in new charred American oak, this high-rye bourbon underwent a secondary finish in French Oak Cognac casks.
The finishing process introduces elegant notes of golden raisin, apricot, and soft floral undertones to the robust caramel and spice of the Kentucky-matured base. Produced in small batches, this 750ml allocated spirit is recognized for its refined fruit complexity and represents a technical showcase of wine-cask maturation within the 1792 Wood Finishing series.
