“Feudo” is another single vineyard from the larger contrada of Randazzo. Vines here are over 70 years old sitting at an altitude of 650-670 meters. Only the single oldest hectare of vines is selected for Feudo. It is raised between large barrels, cement, and vats. 18 months in a combination of large oak barrels and cement tanks. The Nose is intense, dark, floral, and rich. Expect black cherry, pomegranate, Morello cherry, sage, clove, violet, and hints of smoky, balsamic, and Mediterranean brush. The palate is Medium to full-bodied, with a “substantial” and “rich” feel that showcases the wine’s “centennial” old-vine depth. It is characterized by velvety, fine-grained tannins and a robust, savory backbone. 14.5% ABV
