5 year old base wine makes up 30% of rosé blend. Rosé is made in the traditional style, oeil de perdrix (eye of the partridge), a very pale, delicate style found among the most elegant of Champagnes. Aged minimum 36 months on the lees before disgorgement. The color is pale pink, delicate, effervescent … The first nose evokes liquorice, the signature of Pinots Noirs with good maturity. Then the red fruits (strawberry, cherry) appear subtly in a soft and sensual range. The mouth expresses a very beautiful minerality (salinity), a balance operates between a slight astringency and a crystallinity linked to the composition of the wine. The wine’s posture is ample and upright, giving it a beautiful personality. 12% ABV
