Kirin Ichiban is a Japanese-style pilsner known for its smooth, full-bodied taste. It’s made using only the first press of the wort, extracting the best flavors from top-quality ingredients. The brewery, dating back to 1885, started producing Kirin beer in 1888. Kirin Ichiban, introduced in 1990, uses this first press technique and offers a golden color, a smooth taste, and pairs well with sushi and Pan-Asian dishes. It has 5.0% alcohol and a rich “Umami” flavor thanks to its all-malt formula with the finest hops and original yeast.
