Description
Chanteleuserie Bourgueil Cuvée Alouettes 2024 is a dry red wine made by Thierry Boucard at Domaine de la Chanteleuserie, his family’s estate in Benais, in the Bourgueil appellation of the Loire Valley. Made from 100% Cabernet Franc grown on sandy soils in an 8-hectare vineyard planted between 1967 and 1980, the wine is fermented in 125-year-old oak vats with foot pigeage and then aged for 8 to 12 months in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruit character. Chanteleuserie Bourgueil Cuvée Alouettes 2024 is bottled under lutte raisonnée farming at 12.5% ABV and stored in the estate’s underground tuffeau caves before release.
