Description
Two young Georgian sisters, Baia and Gvantsa, continue the family tradition, with each specializing in different local grape varieties. In this instance, they’ve chosen Aladasturi, a grape utilized for both winemaking and as a table grape. Their Pet-Nat is remarkably pure, offering notes of peach, strawberries, bitter watermelon, nectarine, dried roses, and blood oranges. The wine’s color in the glass resembles ruby grapefruit, and its intense, well-balanced acidity complements flavors of bitter rhubarb and hibiscus.
