Chris Brockway sources grapes from small, organic vineyards throughout California for his projects, each designed to showcase the vitality of California wine. His natural approach includes early picking to preserve freshness and acidity, native fermentations, and no additives. The 2022 Love Rosé is a playful blend of Valdiguié, Carignan, Zinfandel, Grenache Noir, and Barbera. The grapes are foot-trodden and left on skins for 12 hours, then pressed into stainless steel and co-fermented for 14 days until dry. The result is a wine that exhibits juicy berries and a crisp finish.
