This Vinho Verde from Joana Santiago’s boutique winery is a high-energy, terroir-driven expression of Portugal’s signature white wine. Sourced from a fourth-generation estate in Monção, the family has cultivated their land since 1899, originally selling their grapes to larger producers. However, in 2009, Grandma “Mariazinha” challenged them to return to their roots, inspiring the creation of authentic, estate-bottled wines focused on native varietals.
A vibrant blend of Arinto, Trajadura, and Loureiro, this wine bursts with frosted lemon, lime, and fuzzy nectarine, underscored by saline streaks and racy stony minerality.
