Gianluca Colombo is an up and coming oenologist in Piemonte who was recognized as such in 2014 when we was awarded the Giulio Gambelli Prize, which goes to the top Italian winemaker under 40. Aged for 18 months in large Austrian Oak cask, 2 years in other vessels (cement vats, amphorae, glass). Lustrous ruby. Lifted cranberry nose that is still very shy and with a touch of volatile acidity. Racy red fruit with fine, clinging tannins. Mouth-watering yet filled out with fresh red fruit. Great freshness and energy. 14% ABV
