Valpolicella Ripasso is made by macerating pomace from the production of Amarone in Valpolicella. The result is a wine with more body, color, and complexity than regular Valpolicella.
The Farina Valpolicella Ripasso has a nose of ripe and candied dark cherry, with a hint of beeswax and sweet orange. Fruit forward on the palate, with juicy acidity and moderate grip, sweet fruit persists on the mid-palate and lingers into the finish, with hints of spice and pepper. Delicious, approachable, and easy-drinking. 13.5%
