Description
2017 – Garofoli Rosso Conero comes from the unique Piancarda estate vineyard located within the Mount Conero Regional Nature Park near the Adriatic coast of Italy. It is made of 100% Montepulciano grapes grown in the chalky limestone from the Mediterranean coast line. It features a very classic Montepulciano nose of brambly dark blackberry, plum with a toasty Slavonian oak spice. This wine has a great texture, good savory acidity, dark fruits and a spicy, dry finish. If you were roasting up game meats, boar, duck, or venison this is a go-to wine and would also be excellent by the glass and with a classic spaghetti bolognese.
