The liquid was produced entirely at the Versailles distillery in a single distillation season, subsequently maturing for a minimum of four years inside a federally bonded warehouse before bottling.
By raising the proof from the standard commercial wheat expression’s 90.4 to a mandatory 100, the technical framework isolates and intensifies the grain’s natural esters. The resulting spirit features a visual presentation mimicking whole wheat toast. On the nose, it delivers distinct aromas of toasted whole wheat bread and sweet apple butter, expanding onto the palate with delicate apple butter, dried berry compote, and wheat cracker, before concluding with a long finish dominated by lingering dried fruit.
