This release is a technical marriage of four distinct recipes: a 17-year-old OBSV (35% rye, delicate fruit yeast), a 12-year-old OESK, a 12-year-old OBSK (35% rye, baking spice yeast), and an 11-year-old OBSV (20% rye, delicate fruit yeast).
Matured in specialized single-story rackhouses, this blend was specifically engineered to highlight the synergy between ultra-aged “V” strain components and more vibrant, mid-aged “K” yeast barrels. The resulting chemical profile is defined by dense layers of creamy vanilla, ripe cherry, and rich cocoa, which integrate with a structural backbone of seasoned oak and baking spice. The non-chill filtered presentation ensures a viscous, oily mouthfeel that carries deep notes of nutmeg and leather through a long, technical finish.
