Little Book Chapter 1: “The Easy” is a 128.2 proof (64.1% ABV) blended American whiskey and the inaugural release from 8th Generation Master Distiller Freddie Noe. This 2017 limited allocation is a technical exploration of the building blocks of bourbon, meticulously blending four uncut and unfiltered straight whiskies: a 4-year-old bourbon, a 13-year-old corn whiskey, and nearly 6-year-old expressions of both malt and high-rye whiskey.
The result is a bold, “one-of-a-kind” profile that leads with rich caramel and vanilla, followed by toasted nuts and a distinct cornbread sweetness derived from the aged corn component. Bottled at the James B. Beam Distilling Co., this 750ml release represents the foundational blending philosophy that launched the critically acclaimed Little Book series.
