Description
The 2018 King of Kentucky 14 Year Old is a Barrel Strength ultra-aged limited allocation representing the foundational “day zero” collectible for the modern Brown-Forman heritage portfolio. Released in 2018, this inaugural expression was distilled in 2003 and matured for 14 years in the distillery’s iconic heat-cycled warehouses in Louisville.
Hand-selected by Master Distiller Chris Morris from a minuscule lot of only 16 barrels, the spirit has developed an explosive structural integrity characterized by deep molasses, dark chocolate, and toasted leather. The high-rye mash bill provides a vibrant framework of clove and black pepper, balanced by a thick, oily core of toffee and vanilla. With a legendary total outturn of only ~1,000 bottles, this 750ml single-barrel release is a primary acquisition for elite collectors tracking the technical origin of the King of Kentucky revival.
