Description
The 2018 growing season began with a mild, dry winter, followed by a cool spring that delayed bud break slightly. A warm summer brought consistent plant growth, though the season was marked by drought stress. October’s perfect weather allowed for a long, smooth harvest with ripe, concentrated fruit, and optimal ripening.
The Palate: This wine displays a darker shade of Pinot, with a nose that remains reticent, hinting at its more complex character. On the palate, it reveals distinctly darker flavors, featuring ripe raspberries and dark cherries that provide a supple yet defined structure. The wine showcases excellent tensile presence and refined intensity, with a finish that is clean and satisfying.
