Description
The 2020 King of Kentucky 14 Year Old is a Barrel Strength (typically 125–135+ proof) ultra-aged limited allocation representing a high-viscosity chapter in the Brown-Forman heritage portfolio. Released in late 2020, this 14-year age-stated bourbon was distilled in 2006 and matured in the distillery’s iconic heat-cycled warehouses.
Hand-selected by Master Distiller Chris Morris from a limited lot of 32 barrels, the spirit has developed a monumental structural integrity characterized by deep molasses, dark chocolate, and toasted leather. The 79% corn, 11% rye and 10% malted barley mash bill provides a vibrant framework of cinnamon and clove, balanced by a thick, oily core of toffee and vanilla bean. With a tiny total outturn of only ~1,900 bottles, this 750ml single-barrel release is a primary acquisition for elite collectors tracking the brand’s most elusive early-edition maturation standards.
