Clase Azul Joven Dia de los Muertos 2020 is an 80 proof (40% ABV) limited-release produced at NOM 1416 (Productos Finos de Agave) in Jesus Maria, Jalisco. This 100% Blue Weber agave spirit is a Joven expression, created by blending the brand’s Plata, Reposado (aged 8 months in American oak), and Ultra (aged 5 years in reclaimed Sherry casks) tequilas. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional masonry ovens for 72 hours and fermented with proprietary yeast before double distillation in copper pot stills.
The resulting blend offers a technical profile defined by cooked agave, dark fruit, and vanilla, with savory notes of nutty toffee and white pepper. The bone-colored ceramic decanter features a skull and marigold motif, with global production strictly limited to 2,000 individually numbered units.
