Woodford Reserve Distillery Series Four Grain is a small-batch technical allocation released in the spring of 2020 under the guidance of Master Distiller Chris Morris. This expression represents a targeted study of grain interaction by combining separate whiskey distillates into a multi-grain framework. The blend utilizes a precise marriage of the distillery’s core bourbon, rye, malt and wheat whiskies. All components were matured separately in standard new charred American white oak before being batched together to yield a four-grain profile.

Bottled at 90.4 proof, its structural framework relies on the wheat portion to temper the spicy character of the rye. The technical profile delivers a medium-bodied mouthfeel with aromas of sweet cream corn, fresh wood shavings, and orchard fruit, expanding on the palate with honeyed biscuits, vanilla, and a soft, warming finish of cinnamon.
