The 2022 Jack Daniel’s Small Batch Coy Hill is an ultra-high-proof Tennessee Whiskey representing a one-time technical salvage of the highest-proof barrels ever aged in Lynchburg. Pulled from the top floors of Coy Hill Houses 8 and 13, these 55 barrels experienced such extreme evaporation that the spirit reached “hazmat” levels (above 140 proof). To safely contain the high-pressure liquid, the distillery utilized a 375ml format with specialized compression seals.
The profile across the five batches is defined by a massive structural integrity, featuring concentrated notes of burnt sugar, dark molasses, and heavy charred oak, balanced by an “electric” fruitiness on the finish. This limited release is a primary acquisition for elite collectors tracking the peak of extreme warehouse maturation.
