Released in 2023 as an exclusive “Excerpt” for the Barreled & Boxed program, this technical blend incorporates five unique liquid streams: 17-year aged bourbon, 10-year bourbon finished in Japanese casks, 9-year bourbon finished in Scotch casks, 6-year brown rice bourbon, and 5-year bourbon finished in wine casks.
This complex maturation strategy results in a profile of aromatic cherry pie, orange marmalade, and warm baking spices including clove and anise. Bottled uncut and unfiltered at the James B. Beam Distilling Co., this 750ml allocation is a primary showcase of experimental wood finishing and grain variance.
