This release features a comprehensive packaging refresh designed by artist David Carson, including a reimagined bottle silhouette inspired by the undulating roofline of The Macallan’s Speyside estate. Beyond the aesthetic update, the spirit remains a masterclass in wood management, defined by the “two worlds” maturation process.
It brings together whiskies aged for 18 years in hand-selected European oak and American oak casks, both seasoned with Oloroso sherry in Jerez, Spain. The American oak provides a creamy, honeyed foundation of vanilla and citrus, while the European oak anchors the liquid with its signature structural spice and dried fruit depth. The 2025 bottling presents a decadent profile of treacle toffee, baked ginger, and warm oak spice, representing a harmonious equilibrium of classic Speyside character and modern luxury.
