Description
Anders Frederik Steen Should We Just Rely on Luck? is a natural rosé wine produced in the Ardèche region of France. This cuvée is crafted from a blend of Cinsault, Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Grenache Noir, Syrah, and Merlot grapes from organically farmed vineyards on clay and limestone soils. The diverse terroir and favorable Mediterranean climate contribute to the grapes’ optimal ripening and flavor development. The grapes undergo direct pressing in the cellar, with the majority pressed slowly in a vertical press and the remainder in a mechanical press. The juices are blended during fermentation, which halts naturally, leaving approximately 30 grams of residual sugar. This results in a rosé with a slight sweetness and natural effervescence, as the remaining carbon dioxide from fermentation adds a gentle fizz. The wine is bottled with a crown cap to preserve its freshness and effervescence, adhering to low-intervention winemaking principles.
