Description
A 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir defines Alessandra Divella NiNì 2020, named after the winemaker’s father who grew up in the Adriatic port city of Bari—the wine’s pronounced salinity reminded her of his coastal origins. Both varieties ferment together spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in used barriques, then are blended with 25% reserve wine before tirage. Alessandra Divella NiNì 2020 ages 42 months on the lees before disgorgement with zero dosage. From Jurassic limestone and clay soils in Gussago, Lombardy. Production: fewer than 1,000 bottles annually. Unfined, unfiltered, no added sulfites.
