Description
Alessandro Viola Nero d’Avola Rosé is made from 90% Nero d’Avola and 10% Nerello Mascalese grown organically in Alcamo, Trapani, Sicily. The Nero d’Avola comes from the valley near Santa Ninfa, while Nerello Mascalese is from Alcamo. Grapes are harvested early by hand, destemmed, and directly pressed. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, where the wine ages to enhance fruit freshness. Unfiltered and unfined with minimal sulfites added at bottling. Bottled at 13.5% alcohol under the Terre Siciliane IGP appellation.
