Andi Weigand Silvaner 2023 is a natural white wine crafted from 100% Silvaner grapes grown on 50-year-old vines in Iphofen, within Germany’s Franken region. The vineyards sit on Keuper soil—a distinctive blend of marl and limestone that imparts pronounced minerality. Andi Weigand hand-harvests the grapes and presses them using an 80-year-old basket press, then ferments the juice spontaneously in 1,250-liter oak barrels. Andi Weigand Silvaner 2023 rests on full lees for 10 months before bottling unfined, unfiltered, and without any added sulfites—a true zero-zero natural wine.
