Description
What do you get when you don’t add any oak flavors to a Chardonnay? You get a brilliant and complex, mineral-rich white wine that is refreshing, as well as being the perfect canvas for terroir. The Apaltagua Chardonnay could only come from Casablanca Valley (Chile’s first official “cool climate valley”) which is the ideal site for the production of white grapes. The Paci c Ocean plays a significant role in cooling the region, resulting in grapes with just the right maturity to make great wine. The Apaltagua Chardonnay is golden but flecked with green, and full of tropical fruit flavors. The scents are fresh and clean, and notes of lime and vanilla tease out of the Chardonnay as you enjoy the bottle.
