Since its creation in 1925, Pinotage has stolen the show as South Africa’s signature grape variety. Here in the Western Cape, our winemaking partners work with bush-trained vines and non-irrigated vineyards to produce wines that are the ultimate expression of the region’s unique terroir. This hardy crossing of Cinsault and Pinot Noir tends to lean bold, and must be crafted with care to manage its potentially high tannins.
