Description
Wine is something that is deeper, and more complex than just stomping grapes and fermenting them. No matter how refined the winery, there is so much more that goes into the process that is outside of human intervention or control. The great Galileo described wine as “sunlight, held together by water,” not forgetting the fact that things are never as simple as they seem. The Astrae Mars comes from the crook of two rivers: the Mokelumne and the Cosumnes where light and water have blended together to feed the grapes for this beautiful wine. It won 94 points and a Gold medal at the 2018 International Women’s Wine Competition!
