Description
100% Sauvignon Blanc
The Barton Family can trace its history in the region back to 1725! “Oreille’s de Poule” translates to “Hen’s Ear”, which is the local name of the oyster shell sediment found in the soil of Menetou-Salon. Pale yellow color with slight golden highlights. Intense nose of grapefruit aromas, combined with delicate floral notes (acacia) and flinty hints. The palate is complex, fruity and crisp. The front palate offers a nice amount of minerality followed by a full and fruity middle palate evolving to a long, refreshing while gentle finish. 12.5% ABV
