Description
Benjamin Taillandier Laguzelle is a red wine from Minervois, Languedoc-Roussillon, crafted from a blend of Cinsault, Syrah, and Carignan grown on schist, clay, limestone, sand, and marl soils. Benjamin Taillandier farms three hectares of 30-year-old vines biodynamically with Ecocert organic certification. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo cold maceration for several days before spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Benjamin Taillandier Laguzelle ages six months in stainless steel and is bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur addition at 13 mg/L.
