Description
Bichi Azul El Heroe is crafted from Grenache (Garnacha) grapes sourced from Tecate, Baja California, Mexico. The region’s Mediterranean climate, influenced by the Pacific Ocean, and its sandy loam and granite soils provide an ideal terroir for viticulture. The vineyards are dry-farmed and cultivated without irrigation, adhering to organic and biodynamic practices. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo carbonic maceration in stainless steel tanks for 25 days, a technique that enhances the wine’s fruity and aromatic profile. After pressing, the wine is aged in stainless steel vessels to preserve its freshness and vibrancy. Bottling occurs without fining or filtration, and no sulfur dioxide is added.
