LAN D-12 is an assemblage of barrels that LAN’s entire team (everyone – from vineyard management, to winemaking, to operations, to sales) selects, places in tank number “D-12” for bottling. Stylistically D-12 is on the modern spectrum but still very detailed and balanced, with twelve months in new American (Appalachian) and French (very fine-grained Chateauroux and Loches) barrels, followed by a minimum three years in bottle before release.

A deep, elegant ruby red wine with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, cinnamon, vanilla, and cocoa, with hints of tobacco and toffee. On the palate, it has a structured, fresh, and powerful taste with abundant dusty tannins and a long finish of spices, herbs, and ripe fruit. 13.5% ABV
