Description
Bojo do Luar Deu Bode is a natural red from Portugal’s Vinho Verde region, a collaboration between Savio Soares and biodynamic producer Antonio Sousa. The wine is made from indigenous varieties, primarily Vinhão, Bastardo, Borraçal, and some white varieties like Arinto and Loureiro, which are grown on granitic soils. Grapes are hand-harvested, with the red varieties undergoing a five-day maceration to extract color and complexity. Fermentation is spontaneous, with no additives other than ground chestnut flowers, which naturally stabilize the wine, minimizing the need for added sulfites.
