Description
Bojo do Luar Doralice Loureiro 2024 is a skin-contact white from Portugal’s Vinho Verde region. Made from 100% Loureiro grown organically on granitic soils in the Arcos de Valdevez area, the grapes come from 40-year-old vines. What sets Bojo do Luar Doralice apart is an unusual addition: ground chestnut flowers join the must before fermentation, acting as a natural stabilizer. The wine macerates for six to eight weeks with 10% whole clusters, ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in concrete and stainless steel, then bottles unfiltered with minimal sulfur. Bojo do Luar is a collaboration between importer Savio Soares and biodynamic winemaker Fernando Paiva.
