Description
Bojo do Luar Duplo Chillable Red is a natural wine from Portugal’s Vinho Verde region, crafted entirely from the Espadeiro grape. Sourced from 20-year-old vines in Felgueiras, the grapes are organically and biodynamically farmed. Upon harvest, the grapes are destemmed and transferred to 100-year-old, 1,100-liter amphoras (talhas), where they undergo foot treading. Ground chestnut flowers are added as a natural stabilizer before spontaneous fermentation begins, lasting approximately one month. Following maceration, the wine is moved to stainless steel tanks and bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur addition (30 ppm), resulting in a fresh, authentic expression of the Espadeiro varietal.
