Our winemaking partners in northern Italy employ practices handed down from their elders, which they will one day pass onto children of their own. Our Bonfilia — meaning “good daughter” — Vino Rosso has been mindfully nurtured from grape to glass. This potent blend is delectably red-fruited and earthy with captivating spice. A proper upbringing began in the vineyard, where workers there paid close attention to pruning and ripening while also being mindful of pinpointing the perfect moment to begin the harvest. These grapes were harvested by hand during the chilly autumn nights to ensure the freshness and quality of every cluster. In order to foster a delectable balance of fruit flavor and spice, the juice was then fermented for ten months in both stainless steel and French oak vessels.
