Description
Bonzano Gajard Barbera del Monferrato DOC, is produced by Bonzano Vini at Tenuta della Mandoletta in Casale Monferrato, Piedmont. This red wine is made from 100% Barbera grapes grown on calcareous-clay soils in vineyards planted in 2011 at elevations below 400 meters. The Bonzano family works with oenologist Donato Lanati to craft this wine from 7 hectares of estate vineyards. Bonzano Gajard Barbera del Monferrato DOC 2020 ferments and ages for 9 months in stainless steel tanks. Gajard, meaning vigorous and exuberant in Piedmontese dialect, represents the authentic character of Monferrato terroir and indigenous Barbera tradition.
