Master Distiller Fred Noe selected the batch from across different rack-houses, aged 6 years, 7 months and 7 days. As the third release of the Booker’s Bourbon 2020 Collection, this batch is a nod to Booker Noe’s love of American football, which eventually became a whole family affair, especially during the holiday season.
Per Fred Noe’s notes, on the nose, it shows brown sweets with slight vanilla notes. The palate brings big and bold, and the finish carries long and warm. The pour shows Booker’s darkest, deepest amber and henna color.
A 2020 Booker’s release, this named batch is closely tracked by collectors building a complete Booker’s run. Bottled at full barrel strength with no chill filtration, it rewards a few drops of water and drinks well neat or over a single large cube.
