Booker’s Phantom Pipes Batch 7 Year is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. Released as Batch 2025-04 and bottled at 126.4 proof, this uncut, unfiltered Booker’s release is part of the named-batch series Master Distiller Fred Noe oversees.
Master Distiller Fred Noe selected the batch from five different rack-houses, aged 7 years, 6 months and 15 days. Marking the fourth and final release of the Booker’s Bourbon 2025 Collection, this named batch honors Booker Noe’s creative genius. Booker would constantly tinker with distillery equipment, trying to find more efficient ways to produce bourbon. This led to the connection of pipes that you can still see at the distillery today.
Per Fred Noe’s notes, on the nose, it shows pleasant, vanilla notes and wood notes from over seven years aging in oak. The palate brings well-rounded, and the finish carries lasts but leaves you wanting another sip. The pour shows Booker’s darkest, deepest amber and henna color.
A 2025 Booker’s release, this named batch is closely tracked by collectors building a complete Booker’s run. Bottled at full barrel strength with no chill filtration, it rewards a few drops of water and drinks well neat or over a single large cube.
