From the family-owned Bio-Weingut Benzinger in Kirchheim an der Weinstraße, the Benzinger Riesling 2024 showcases organic winemaking rooted in the northern Pfalz region of Germany. The estate farms 13 hectares across soils of loam, loess, chalk, and sandstone—terrain that produces riper, fuller-bodied Rieslings than cooler German regions like Mosel. Weingut Benzinger ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, uses minimal sulfites, and bottles unfined and unfiltered. An ECOVIN member since 2015, the winery holds German BIO-Siegel and EU organic certification for all production.
