Description
Buffo Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is produced from 100% Montepulciano grapes from the Il Romano vineyard in Abruzzo. The certified organic and BioVegan estate uses south-southeast exposure vineyards at 280 meters elevation. Harvested in early September, the grapes undergo brief maceration on the skins before pressing. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine ages in steel before bottling with minimal sulfites.
