A robust Australian red from two certified Masters of Wine. Nine months in French oak barrels developed notes of smoke and cocoa balanced by fresh, vibrant fruit in this young Shiraz. Named in honor of James Busby, the father of Australian wines, the Shiraz is a bold, full bodied red that is a quintessential South Eastern Australian Australia has warm days and cool nights which is closer to the weather in Napa than in the nearby Outback. The longer growing season means that grapes ripen slowly and evenly resulting in a more nuanced and robust final product. The Busby’s Treaty 2016 Shiraz is both of those things.
