Butler and Thief 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon California

The first wine from Butler & Thief was an absolute knockout. Winning 94 points and a Gold medal from the judges at the International Women’s Wine Competition, it quickly became a member favorite as well as a critical darling. The follow up is another home run. The Cabernet grapes were picked in Lodi, California (one of our favorite up-and-coming regions) at modest ripeness to retain balanced acidity and fruit. We love how the ripe tannins give this wine texture, and the tertiary notes on the palate complement the bright fruit and opulent structure. Try pairing this with spicy meat dishes! Judges love this wine too. It took home a silver medal at the 2018 Harvest Challenge and the 2019 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
