Caduto dalle Nuvole is a traveler’s delight. It’s the type of wine that is easy to imagine discovering on a trip to the Italian coast. It’s the type of wine that you drink chilled while watching the tide come in. It’s also the type of wine that we love to have at Firstleaf. The Caduto dalle Nuvole is full of citrus and a refreshing minerality, but there are notes that still keep us guessing. We’ve gotten wet stone and white flowers, but there is so much more. While it is a delight on its own we especially like it with fresh seafood: roasted octopus, oysters, and grilled fish. And judges love it too! It took home 90 Points and a Gold medal from the 2019 Sommeliers Challenge.
