Description
Cantina Giardino Aglianico Re 2022 is a dry red wine made from 100% old-vine Aglianico by Antonio and Daniela De Gruttola at Cantina Giardino in Irpinia, Campania. The grapes are sourced from an old-vine parcel in Montemarano, grown at high altitude on volcanic soils. Hand-harvested and destemmed, the grapes undergo approximately three weeks of skin maceration with spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts, followed by nine months aging in old chestnut barrels. Cantina Giardino Aglianico Re 2022 is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfites at 14% ABV. Campania IGP.
