Description
Cantina Margò AC/DT is a bold, skin-contact white from Umbria, made entirely from Trebbiano grapes. Carlo Tabarrini, the winemaker behind Margò, farms organically on clay-limestone soils around Montefalco, letting the vineyard speak through his low-intervention approach. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, followed by extended skin maceration lasting around 10 days. The wine is aged in stainless steel or cement, bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without sulfur. It’s an honest, rustic wine with soul—wild but balanced, reflecting Carlo’s punk spirit and Umbrian roots.
