Description
Cantina Margò Fiero Bianco is an Umbria IGT white wine produced by winemaker Carlo Tabarrini from 100% Grechetto grapes. The vineyards are located in Casenuove near Perugia, where 25 to 50-year-old vines grow on Pliocene-Miocene lakebeds rich in clay, limestone, and marl at approximately 300 meters elevation. Carlo Tabarrini farms organically and biodynamically, hand-harvesting grapes that undergo destemming and two to three days of skin maceration. Cantina Margò Fiero Bianco ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in open vats without temperature control. The wine ages in stainless steel and is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
